I am a Senior Data Engineer with 12+ years of experience designing and building scalable data platforms across insurance, healthcare, banking, and financial services domains. Currently, I am working with American International Group (AIG) where I contribute to building modern cloud-based data platforms that support analytics and reporting for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance operations. In my current role, I design and develop end-to-end data pipelines to ingest, transform, and process large volumes of enterprise insurance data including policy, claims, underwriting, and risk datasets. I work extensively with Snowflake, Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to build scalable data lake and data warehouse solutions. My responsibilities include building batch and real-time ingestion pipelines, developing transformation logic using PySpark and SQL, optimizing data models, and implementing data quality and governance frameworks to ensure reliable and secure data access across business teams. I collaborate closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-performance data solutions that support underwriting analytics, claims insights, and enterprise reporting.
