Bioinformatics | Data Engineering | Life Sciences Data Management With a strong foundation in bioinformatics and data science, I have been working at the intersection of biotechnology and data-driven solutions. My experience spans bioinformatics pipeline development, API design, automation, and data architecture, with a focus on making biological data more accessible and actionable. Currently, I am engaged as a Faculty cum Mentor with Bversity, training aspiring biotech candidates in Data Architecture and Database Management from a life sciences perspective. My role involves guiding students through industry-relevant concepts and helping them develop practical skills as they prepare to enter the biotech and bioinformatics sectors. Previously, I worked as a Data Engineer (Bioinformatics) at Semantic Web Tech Pvt. Ltd, where I contributed to bioinformatics software development, API integration, automation, and pipeline optimization. Before that, at Corteva Agriscience, I focused on designing and automating genomics and transcriptomics pipelines using Python and Biopython, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in large-scale biological data analysis. I hold an M.Tech in Big Data Biology from SASTRA University and a B.Tech in Biotechnology from SNIST. My expertise spans Sequence Analysis, Molecular Modeling, Drug Design, and Systems Biology, and I’m proficient with tools like Marvin Sketch, Modeller, Cytoscape, PyMOL, and AutoDock Vina. I am always interested in discussions around bioinformatics, data science, and education and how they intersect to create impactful solutions.
