Designed and implemented automated systems to optimize the black dyeing process, including system integration and programming (PLCs). • Evaluated options for full automation of the dyeing process. • Conducted technological evaluations of options, including cycle time, possibility to integrate into the workflow, and high-level economic evaluation of the cost of machine/cost per part. • Built a prototype and utilized all required hardware for the automation process. • Successfully integrated the automation process with the sorting machine for the automatic handover of black parts to the dyeing process.
