Designed and executed cell engineering experiments, including molecular cloning and CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing (plasmid- and RNP-based), to induce targeted somatic copy number alterations in iPSCs- Cultured mammalian cell lines (HEK293T) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), and generated iPSC-derived retinal organoids for disease modeling and functional studies- Transfected mammalian cell lines, iPSCs, and 3D organoids for genomic knock-in experiments using Neon electroporation, Lipofectamine-based transfection, and lentiviral transduction- Prepared single-cell RNA-seq libraries using Bio-Rad ddSEQ 5′ RNA-seq and bulk RNA-seq libraries with Takara Bio SMART-Seq v4, and performed downstream single-cell RNA-seq data analysis and visualization in R and Python- Routinely applied a broad range of validation techniques, including DNA/RNA and protein isolation, confocal microscopy, PCR, western blotting, flow cytometry, FACS, gel electrophoresis, qPCR, Immunohistochemistry, and imaging- Managed inventory tracking and supply ordering to support daily research operations

Hello! I’m a biomedical researcher at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, passionate about understanding the molecular mechanisms driving diseases. My work focuses on designing and executing CRISPR-Cas9 experiments to induce targeted genetic changes in induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and developing iPSC-derived retinal organoids for disease modeling and functional studies.Alongside my lab work, I have extensive experience preparing single-cell and bulk RNA sequencing libraries and analyzing complex transcriptomic datasets using R and Python.
