Weld Shop development, Equipment selection, Manpower Selection, • Cycle time estimation • QMS implementation • carrying out the Requirements Review and Technical Review check • Preparing the testing program for welding procedure qualification. • Responsible for preparation & Qualification of Welding Procedure Specification. • Responsible for Welding activity & Welding Procedure & Work Instruction. • Carrying out the Requirements Review and Technical Review check. • Examining the project documentations for determining any needs and technical requirements concerning welding and NDT, including welding consumable purchase. • Prepare technical documentation (procedures, method statements, reports, matrix, WPQR, WPS.); • Organizing the welding procedures qualification sessions and welders / welding operators qualifications. • Coordinating with Client inspector and Notified Body supervision of the production of WPQT and test samples and laboratory testing. • Issuing of technical query. • Issuing the quantity of welding consumables. • Planning the welding activities. • Set up & implementation of New Welding Shop • Responsible for the recruitment of Welder, QC Inspector, Welding Engineer • Support Purchase department for Welding consumable, welding Machine, equipment & tools. • Provide input for new projects to Design Team, QMS Team & Purchase Team • Lead for welding process improvement by implementation of welding jigs & fixtures, training, awareness program • Monitor of work Progress on daily, weekly & monthly to access job status & future requirement. • Responsible for all activities carried out on welding shop.
