WORK HISTORY
Research Associate @Bosch Research
Renningen, DE
A passion-project to build the next-generation traction inverter.Developed a ‘Partial Load Triangular Current Mode’ (PLTCM) automotive inverter- Soft-switched TCM modulation in partial loads but SVPWM during peak load- Custom inductor exploiting magnetic saturating to bifurcate partial-peak loads- Mitigation of machine PWM harmonic losses with sinusoidal AC-side voltages- 4% additional driving range expected without any performance compromise- 300 kW, 800 V hardware proof-of-concept (TCM upto 300 A, 140 kHz)- 20 V/ns in operation for parallelized 6x24 mm2 1200 V SiC switches.Developed intellectual property & showcased research publicly- Received Best Paper Award for the concept at PCIM Europe 2024- Novel common mode voltage injection strategy for higher efficiency at APEC 2025- 3 patents filed.
