I am a Software Engineer specializing in Machine Learning at Google, where I currently develop multi-modal search experiences for Google Lens and advanced video understanding for Shopping Video Search. My work involves building end-to-end ML pipelines and distilling multimodal models. I hold a Master of Science in Computer Science with an AI concentration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay. In my free time I build agentic systems.Throughout my career at companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Ola Cabs, I have developed a deep expertise in large-scale distributed systems, geospatial technologies, and deep learning. My technical contributions range from implementing HMM-based map-matching algorithms for millions of requests to migrating complex data processing pipelines to the cloud. Notably, I published the fastest Python implementation of the ForceAtlas2 graph visualization algorithm, which has garnered significant recognition in the open-source community.Driven by a strong academic foundation—including a KVPY Young Scientist Award and ranking 47th in the IIT-JEE nationally—I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI. Whether it is improving the AV1 Codec through predictive video compression or presenting research on neural joke generation at IJCAI, I am committed to building robust, scalable, and innovative AI solutions that solve real-world problems.
