About Parul Bhargava

I\'ve spent 20 years at Microsoft shipping enterprise cloud services. Today I focus on compliance-by-default engineering — helping hundreds of service teams deliver compliantly to enterprise customers every year. Outside Microsoft, I\'m building Lexic.io, an AI-powered knowledge management system that uses embeddings and semantic search to solve a problem I\'ve lived with for 15 years: how people with ADHD actually organize and retrieve what they know. Building it has forced me into questions most governance frameworks haven\'t caught up to yet — like what happens when your AI agent makes 1,481 architectural decisions and you need to figure out which ones actually matter. I write about what I\'m learning along the way. Recent topics: a four-layer model for AI governance (three layers are empty), why 2.8% of an agent\'s knowledge drives most of its best work, and what context rot looks like when machines are the ones forgetting. I also host The Practicing Leader, a podcast on leadership and management. My coaching work focuses on early and mid-career professionals — helping people figure out how to do their best work and build the kind of relationships that make careers sustainable.
