About Bhargava Gopireddy
I am currently working at Nvidia as a Compute Architect, focusing on the Deep Learning Inference architectures and energy efficiency for Nvidia GPUs. I received my PhD from UIUC in Computer Science, with a focus in the area of computer architecture. My research involved building energy-efficient processors without compromising the performance for upcoming process technologies. I have also worked on issues related to hardware security and architectural support for containers. Previously, I worked at Intel as a performance modeling architect on Intel\'s Skylake generation of microprocessors. At Intel, I worked on an exploratory fine grained media accelerator for visual/perceptual computing. I did a comprehensive power-performance-area analysis for the proposed accelerator as well as detailed workload analysis. I have also interned at Intel Labs in the Accelerator Architecture Lab, where I worked on text based machine learning applications to identify opportunities for acceleration. I have extensive experience in doing performance and power modeling for various architectures such as general purpose cores and fine grained accelerators.
