Entrepreneurship has defined my entire career. I have a successful 25 year track record of launching my own Instrument Transformer businesses in the United States and India. The record includes charting the courses of these businesses and guiding them with sound strategic planning and management. My career began in the US in 2002 when I entered into a partnership to supply Low & Medium Voltage Instrument Transformers for North American OEMs. In 2004, I founded Texas-based Amran Inc, of which I am the President and Chief Executive Officer. I am also the co-owner and director of Amran’s key affiliates in India – Narayan Powertech Pvt. Ltd, and Amtran Magnetics Pvt. Ltd. Under my leadership, Amran and its affiliates have expanded their geographic scope – from supplying Instrument Transformers to Fortune 500 businesses in North America to doing the same for industry leaders in over 40 countries. At the core of my entrepreneurial spirit are long-held beliefs that (i) cost-effectiveness should never compromise the quality of deliverables and (ii) technical expertise and constant innovation through R&D are critical to success in the Instrument Transformer market. These beliefs have helped me transform start-up companies of Amran Group into multi-million dollar enterprises.
