   As a Critical Environment Technician, I specialize in one major area of CE operations, such as electrical, mechanical, controls, or generators, and independently handle advanced tasks. I regularly inspect and supervise critical environment-related facility equipment, including controls, HVAC, mechanical systems, buildings, and grounds, ensuring they are free from unsafe or abnormal conditions and escalating issues as per policies and standards. I utilize the internal computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track all equipment assets and complete work order requests for maintenance work. I respond swiftly and lead onsite incident response teams for any abnormal conditions impacting operations, coordinating with other critical facilities professionals to perform corrective repairs without supervision. I enhance, develop, and follow emergency operating procedures (EOPs), methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to CE operations and incidents. With minimal oversight, I perform various types of maintenance and repairs, including planned, predictive, and corrective, following MOPs and SOPs for different types of equipment such as electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems. I have a hands-on understanding of how equipment works and can troubleshoot equipment, systems, subsystems, and components independently within my trained discipline. I provide consultation to lower-level colleagues in troubleshooting systems and problems.
