About Bharat Kaul
A global leader with 28+ years of technical and business leadership experience in the US and India with roles spanning, engineering and research. I am focused on building strong teams and grooming leaders who can deliver impact on the global stage. I am also extremely passionate about usher in technology that impacts billions of lives positively.Over last decade, I have had the privilege of leading a world class research team of talented researchers that play a significant role in driving the future of computing architectures for emerging applications. The team has delivered 50+ papers in Tier-1 Conferences (like ICLR, NeurIPS, ISCA, MICRO, SuperComputing, ISC, IPDPS) and made significant contributions to Intel\'s HW/SW roadmap spanning multi-core and many core architectures. Our research focus is on 1) Creating breakthrough algorithms in the application domain 2) highly parallel & scalable algorithms 3) middle-ware and compilers to enable world at large 4) redefine the emerging computing architecture of the future through HW/SW co-design to best meet the needs of these class of algorithmsWith access to latest computing technologies and computing at scale, our researchers follow an Application-Driven-Architecture research methodology with focus on real world problems. The application domains include Deep Learning, Artificial intelligence, Data Mining, Natural language processing, Computer Vision, Computational Biology, Computational Sciences and more. My lab at Intel is hiring talented/passionate individuals with the expertise in one or several of the following domains: Machine Learning, HPC, performance optimization, computer architecture, and HW/SW co-design.
