With over 30 years of experience, I lead platform engineering at Moody’s as a Managing Director, overseeing backend engineering, identity platforms, site reliability engineering, and core enterprise platforms. My work focuses on building durable platform capabilities while clarifying the decision rights, ownership boundaries, and operating models required to support SaaS and GenAI services at scale.I work at the intersection of technology, risk, and governance — helping organizations move from fragmented execution to clearer, more accountable systems. Recent efforts include modernizing customer identity platforms, establishing centralized entitlements as a single source of truth for product access, and building usage metering and quota services that enable accurate consumption measurement and commercial scalability. Several of these capabilities were foundational to scaling RMS prior to its acquisition by Moody’s.In addition to infrastructure and reliability, I lead the internal developer platform, providing a multi-cloud control plane that abstracts infrastructure complexity and enables teams to deploy and operate services consistently across environments. These platforms are designed to provide compliance-by-default, with SOC 2 and ISO-certified controls embedded so teams can move faster without increasing operational or regulatory risk.I focus on solving systemic problems that span teams and functions, where success depends less on heroics and more on clear decisions, incentives, and shared standards.
