About Bharathkumaran Gopalakrishnan
From a young age, I’ve had a natural curiosity for automobiles and machinery — dismantling and reassembling things just to understand how they work. That hands on fascination guided me towards Mechanical Engineering.I began my career as an Apprentice Mechanical Engineer at Larsen & Toubro, Coimbatore, after being selected through a campus drive during my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Following my apprenticeship, I pursued my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Lateral Entry), graduating First Class with Distinction.Currently, I work as a Design Engineer at Sai Shapari Projects, Coimbatore, where I specialize in designing pulp molded tableware products and their tooling (molds). My role also involves sourcing raw materials, accessories and attending numerous mold trial runs to ensure product quality and manufacturability.Beyond work, I’m passionate about automobiles, video games and technology.
