Plan and establish sequence or batching of parts in material flow to end line assemble parts and to promote efficient utilization of Jobs in a plant that produces 480 trucks a shift. Coordinates implementation of projects that are related to continuous improvement and material flow, reduced double handling, and effective parts delivery that save 1.2 million dollars. Routinely operate various types of equipment including, electric and manual pallet jacks, the automated guided vehicle, and pull/push delivery carts, following established safety procedures. Played a key role in productivity moves that reduced headcount and saved 3.6 million. Constantly monitoring routing methods and changing human resources in response to changes in product demand and mix for special study to understand and implement changes.
