Design and Development of Backplane and RF Connectors. Advancing concepts into production by adhering to the industry-recommended Product Development Process (PDP).1) Conceptualization (Creating concepts from scratch to fulfill customer needs). Review the sales drawing with the customer for the proposed concept.2) Validate concepts through HFSS simulation for Signal Integrity, Hypermesh simulation for structural analysis, Mold flow simulation for injection molding verification, and Ansys Icepack for thermal simulation.3) Detailed design utilizing CAD software NX/Unigraphics and PLM tool Team Center.4) The designs are theoretically validated using Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) tools such as DFMEA and tolerance analysis.5) Release process for prototyping (pre-production). Collaborate with suppliers on soft tooling based on the sample quantities required for testing.6) Analyze sample data using First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, and work closely with plants to resolve any design issues as needed.7) Conduct electrical and mechanical validation testing (including force testing, vibration testing, electrical performance testing, IP testing, etc.).8) Prepare Quality reports, product specifications, assembly instructions, tooling, and plating specifications prior to production release.9) Collaborate with the sourcing team to obtain manufacturing and assembly quotes for the product.10) Possess a strong understanding of 3D printing and 3D scanning of prototypes to troubleshoot and enhance designs.11) Collaborate with suppliers on production tooling based on the mass production requirements from the customer.12) Release the drawing package for production through the engineering release process.13) Demonstrate people management skills, oversee the hiring process, provide training/coaching, and mentor team members, among other responsibilities.Achievements:I participated in 5G programs that we have successfully launched into the market, and I am currently engaged in developing more innovative designs in this area.Since 2014, I have effectively established a \"design and development\" team in India, being the inaugural hire for this new group.I had the opportunity to visit manufacturing and assembly facilities in Taiwan, China, and the USA, where I gained insights into our manufacturing capabilities and automated assembly lines.I have been deeply involved in all phases of the NPD/NPI process, from conceptualization to the launch of a functional product that fulfills customer requirements.
