My client I currently support Upstream Process Development (UPD) for both traditional Biologics and Gene Therapy programs. My day-to-day involves navigating the complexities of multiple cell lines, mainly CHO, AAV, and Sf9.Key Responsibilities & Technical Impact:•I manage the upstream workflow for CHO, AAV, and Sf9 cell lines. This includes everything from seed train scale-up (N-2 to N) to configuring DeltaV parameters for SUB bioreactors ranging from 5L to I execute modality-specific harvest operations:• For CHO: I perform Depth Filtration to clarify high-density cell cultures, focusing on filter capacity and pressure differentials.• For AAV: I utilize Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) for cell concentration and diafiltration, ensuring high recovery of viral vectors.•Making inventory more efficient and I am working with a Power BI application to automate tracking. This ensured 100% material availability for our runs.•I developed PI Vision dashboards to monitor our wave reactors and filtration units, which cut down our manual data review time by about 25%.•Responsible for keeping our analytical tools—like the NOVA FLEX,ABL and Vi-CELL—calibrated and ready for daily runs and audits.
