Driveline Diagnostics Design Engineer

Designed Driveline Diagnostics for all types of AWD vehicles. Developed C code using Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow as well as with hand code. Worked along with component suppliers in understanding the functionality and developed efficient fault detection strategies Assisted calibrators for their verification and validation by creating list of parameters & signals associated to a fault, decoders and, finding the root cause of a problem across the features. Developed efficient Failure mode effects mitigation (FMEM) action strategy to keep the AWD system in a safe state when a fault is present. Created 5Ds and DVPs for the issues related to driveline diagnostics and provided intermittent containment actions (ICA). Validated the designed algorithms by various testing methods (SIL, MIL, In-vehicle and, Bench) Created efficient test plans and utilized various tools to debug and record the data.(Visual studio, CANalyzer, DET, ATI vision) Provided 60 DTCs, 3 software versions and in-addition, assisted 5 more software versions throughout the year of 2017.
