Senior Software Engineering & AI Leader with 16+ years of experience, predominantly leading the development of full-stack e-commerce and supply chain technology solutions in the retail industry.My biggest strengths lie in setting a creative vision and building high-performing global teams to deliver on that. I’ve been successful in transforming these large teams(350+) to adopt an Agile DevOps methodology.Having a progressive career in the retail space, customer-centeredness has been ingrained in my mindset. Led the transformation of the monolithic Catalog/Price/Inventory & Search platforms to real-time using Kafka, Microservices, & GraphQL, accelerating commercial plan updates, boosting conversions, and bringing in massive savings. Implemented a new sourcing solution for fulfillment of online orders to reduce the number of packages per order, thus saving multimillion dollars every year in overall shipping cost. Built NextGen order APIs with a custom order management system enabling distributed & headless commerce. Led multiple cloud initiatives, including laying cloud strategy for the global supply chain and optimizing cloud costs, saving $XX M+, among others Consolidated legacy WMS and implemented Manhattan WMS for all the Distribution Centers for GAP Developed technology to enable E2E Transportation, expanding the Parcel Shipping Network by integrating various parcel carriers & last-mile delivery partners into the GAP technology ecosystem.(Including Ocean, Air & Ground)At the core of my leadership, I believe in identifying problems from a first principles perspective, simplifying solutions, and training and mentoring the people to build a robust organizational culture that stands the test of time.Looking into the future my professional pursuits will be about building capabilities for and modernizing the rapidly changing landscape of ecommerce and supply chain solutions for the same.
