ABOUT BHARAT KUCHHAL

As a Graduate Research Assistant at the Institute for Quantum Computing, I am passionate about advancing the field of quantum computing and information. I have developed a 17MHz fiber ring resonator modulated by an electro-optic modulator to simulate the tight-binding Hamiltonian and observe a Floquet band structure in time. I have also performed data acquisition from fast 8 GHz oscilloscope with VISA, signal averaging, noise analysis, Power Spectral Density, Fourier transform, and cross-correlation. In addition to my research work, I have also gained valuable teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo. I have assisted students with problem solving during tutorial sessions and graded mid-term and end-term examination papers. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Quantum Computation and Information at the University of Waterloo, after completing my Bachelor of Technology in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Delhi Technological University. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge in quantum computing to real-world problems and contribute to the advancement of this exciting field.
