ABOUT BHARADWAJ SEKAR

I am an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation before the District Court at Bangalore and Mysore and High Court of Karnataka, as well as corporate in-house litigation management and practice. I have a proven track record of success in legal research, case study for litigations, cross-functional legal administration, and communication. My key skills include process improvement, case management, legal administration, negotiation, research-based analysis, and legal drafting. In my role as Legal Consultant for Hindustan Unilever Limited, Chennai, I have successfully managed both civil and criminal litigations against the organization and its personnel for the states of Karnataka, Kerala, and Pondicherry. I have liaised and replied to statutory notices of FSSAI, Drugs and Cosmetics, Legal Metrology, and other regulatory authorities, and have provided legal and risk management advisory for day-to-day operations. Additionally, I have assisted factory HR in disciplinary actions against workman, labor litigations, etc. I have also handled trademark and copyright infringement suits, as well as seizure and desist notices, to protect the organization\'s intellectual property. I have worked closely with business functions and external stakeholders to identify, address, and resolve risks to reduce the liability profile of the company. I hold a B.B.A. LL.B.(Hons.) degree from J.S.S. Law College Autonomous, Mysore, and I am proficient in English and Kannada, with limited working proficiency in Hindi and Tamil.
