As a Security Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS), I leverage my 12+ years of experience in threat detection and response, threat hunting, threat intelligence, and malware analysis to protect AWS customers\' assets and identities. I am proficient in multiple security products such as Splunk, SOAR, CrowdStrike EDR, Azure, and AWS.I have a strong background in developing and implementing proactive defense strategies and threat modeling for effective threat detection. I also lead the implementation of Splunk detection engineering and collaborate with the Security monitoring Team for ingesting event sources and defining logging baselines. Additionally, I have developed and implemented a Risk-Based Alerting (RBA) solution to detect high confidence threats and dynamically assign risk to assets and identities. I am passionate about enhancing security measures and identifying relevant threats through conducting threat modeling exercises.
