We bought our first laptop for my Sister as she was working towards her Higher Secondary School Certificate in Computer Science. I was more interested in playing Cricket 07. As EA Sports did not have the license to use authentic names, they used generic names. So, Tendulkar became Tendehar, Dhoni became Dhenier, and so on. Something inside me didn’t feel right. I looked for ways of correcting the names. I started with In-Game Team Management, but the hunger didn’t stop there. I Googled and found ways to edit the game’s files to correct the names, amend the stats, and much more. That’s the beginning of my love story.A few years later I applied the file editing skills in configuring the File Adapter in SAP Process Orchestration for connecting to a legacy system. As Steve says, “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards.”. Over the years, the love matured as I attended Computer Science institutes from Diploma to Master of Engineering, later, working as SAP Consultant. More than a decade has passed since when I first used a laptop and our love is still going strong.Now, I envision Enterprises deriving Intelligence from Integration.
