About Bhagawan Gnanapa
My path through electrical engineering and signal processing has taken me from academia to NVIDIA\'s design teams, through founding Smarttrak, and into AI/ML consulting. Each experience taught me something valuable about building practical solutions for complex problems. At NVIDIA, I contributed to hardware accelerator design for signal processing applications, work that resulted in a patent (US 8,990,280 B2). This foundation in compute architecture continues to inform my approach to technical challenges.Smarttrak began as an effort to make solar energy more accessible through advanced tracking systems and IoT monitoring. The company has grown steadily since 2014, teaching me invaluable lessons about translating technical concepts into real-world applications.Smarttrak AI: Working with a talented team to develop Digital Twin solutions using physics-based models, predictive analytics, and IoT Edge devices for solar infrastructure. We\'re learning how to better combine traditional physics models with modern ML approaches.Yantrion Inc: Exploring how AI can assist engineers with technical drawings and simulations, starting with a Solar Power SLD copilot. It\'s early days, but the potential to support engineering workflows is exciting.Based in San Francisco, actively part of the agentic AI ecosystem. Let\'s connect if you\'re exploring Digital Twin solutions, interested in engineering AI copilots, or passionate about the intersection of physics and machine learning.
