About Shriyam Bhagat
I started my career asking, “Is this compliant?” Now I find myself asking, “Can this be automated?” Over the past seven years, I’ve worked across External Audit and FP & A, moving from checking numbers to understanding what drives them - and now to questioning how finance processes themselves can be built better. Audit gave me a strong grounding in controls, structure, and risk. FP & A helped me see the bigger picture - how numbers tell a story and influence business decisions. But what really caught my interest over time wasn’t just the analysis. It was the system behind it. Why does this process work the way it does? Where does it break? Can it run smarter? I enjoy working with data- spotting patterns, understanding gaps, and thinking through logic step by step. Lately, my focus has shifted toward financial transformation: exploring how workflows can be simplified, automated, and enhanced using technology and AI.
