Sector: Children\'s Literature/PublishingParag Initiative is the book development arm of Tata Trusts. Parag supports the development of and access to good quality storybooks for children and youth in Indian languages. It also supports school and community libraries so that children have free access to books and an open and vibrant environment that supports reading for pleasure.My role involves developing and implementing Parag\'s book dissemination strategies backed by advocacy toward making joyful reading accessible to children across India. Towards this end, I have been able to- Establish an online retail sales channel for Parag Honour List (PHL) 2023 books partnering with Eureka Bookstore- Collate a database of over schools in India- Question the metrics, roles, and return on investments of activities otherwise deemed as necessary thus aiding in their reconsideration for the next 5-year plan- Continued research and needs analysis for our flagship E-Parag platform, hashing out the features, redundancies, and budgets- Develop strategies for ease of application, shortlisting, and analysis of PHL Bookbox workflow- Impact analysis of PHL submissions vs selection, PHL Bookbox recipients, Bookaroo event.
