As the Senior Advisor for Operational Medicine at NFIM, I bring over two decades of frontline and clinical expertise, beginning with 13 years as a U.S. Army Special Forces Medical Sergeant with multiple combat deployments. My post-military career has included serving as a Physician Assistant in Critical Care Medicine, providing advanced life support in high-acuity ICU settings, particularly within the VA healthcare system. I hold a Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) degree in Healthcare Education and have led multiple clinical research initiatives, including serving as the Principal Investigator for the CHAOS study (Comprehensive Hyperbaric Assessment of Outcomes in Special Operations), focused on optimizing recovery strategies for veterans and special operations personnel. I am currently launching the LIGHT Study (Longitudinal Investigation of Guided Holistic Therapies) through my integrative medicine clinic, Longtab Quantum Medicine, to evaluate non-invasive therapies in real-world veteran and civilian populations. In this advisory role, I support NFIM’s mission by advancing translational research, integrative clinical protocols, and operational medicine strategies that bridge conventional and complementary care for those who serve.
