I am a software engineer with a background in the healthcare industry. I have experience in the languages and frameworks: JavaScript, React, Ruby, and Python. When I was a student I took a course in python just to expose myself to something new. After taking this course, I realized that I enjoyed my time building applications a lot more than working in the lab. I attended Flatiron and completed their FullStack course on August 2022 and I am currently looking for a position in the tech industry. Collaborated as a part of a 6-member team to develop a subscription-based application using TypeScript and Java, allowing users to receive real-time notifications on train arrival and delays for NYC subway stops. Parsed MTA stop information, extracting latitude and longitude coordinates of train lines and stops. Utilized leaflet and rendering the points on OpenStreetMap for visual representation. Played an integral role in the sprint planning process, contributing to the overall project strategy and ensuring successful project execution. Leveraged Figma for design collaboration, creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, and effectively communicated progress, challenges, and achievements using Trello, facilitating seamless collaboration with team members.
