Data analysis is a double-edged sword. Diligent interpretations of data unveil pivotal insights that pave the road to success; erroneous analytic practices introduce misconceptions that come with costly consequences. Analysts such as myself bear the responsibility of fusing technical skills with a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder requirements and processes to answer a specific business question or problem — to tell the story.I am not your usual computer scientist, as storytelling is also my creative drive: I earned a double Bachelor’s in computer science and theater. I’ve spent my career refining my storytelling by merging expertise in areas from database administration and interactive data visualizations to technical style publications and presentations. This ability to integrate my creative and rational mind will make me an excellent contribution to any team.
