ABOUT BEVERLY BRUCE
I’ve spent more than 15 years in educational services, working in roles that have allowed me to blend my love for learning with my passion for technology. My work has included curriculum design, eLearning development, faculty training, academic support, and educational technology - all centered around creating meaningful learning experiences that help learners succeed. Over the years, I’ve built a strong technical toolkit that includes MS Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery, H5P, and a variety of virtual collaboration platforms. I’ve also had extensive experience working with D2L Brightspace, Moodle, and Blackboard, supporting everything from course design and troubleshooting to faculty coaching and student success. More recently, I’ve integrated AI-assisted workflows and effective prompt engineering into my process. I use AI tools to work more efficiently, generate creative ideas, streamline content development, and quickly prototype new learning assets - always with a human-centered approach. I’m known for being organized, proactive, and adaptable, especially in fast-paced environments. I enjoy working independently, but I also value collaboration and the chance to contribute to a positive team culture. At my core, I’m a lifelong learner who’s always looking for ways to grow, improve, and create better learning experiences for others.
