   Responsible for developing and implementing civil rights enforcement priorities for the State of Tennessee through a 30 member staff located in 4 offices throughout the state. Responsible to a 15 member Board of Commissioners for developing state rules and policy that conform to both federal and state standards. Responsible for overseeing the Tennessee fair housing, fair employment, public accommodation and state wide Title VI enforcement programs including overall administration of the agency in budget/fund development and human resources; policy development; strategic planning and process management; and public education/ communications with the public, the media, industry and advocacy groups, legislators and other stakeholders.
