Take a key role in liaising withcommunities and partners, planningand delivering initiatives and projectsto enhance healthy and well,attractive, safe and strongcommunities.I work with ward members,partners and other council servicesto ensure that communities fullyengaged and informed of communityissues in their area and the widercity.I produce strategies for particularlocalities or themes and developprojects that actively involve & engage our community,I maintain and develop constructiverelationships as part of acollaborative working environment.I attend and contribute to District-wideor County theme-related meetings,contributing to county-wide projectsand initiatives.I engage with stakeholders (internaland external) through effectivecommunication to ensure goodperformance and continuing serviceimprovement.Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary project teams from theCouncil and partner organisations todevelop and deliver communityengagement strategies andprogrammes.I support equalities work across theCouncil by providing advice andinformation in respect of PIA’s.I maintain an up to date knowledge ofcommunity safety, health andwellbeing and wider engagementissues.I collate and analyse information todevise proposals, projects andinitiatives, focussed on communitycohesion/ well-being.I take a professional/ strategic leadfor community wellbeing and workwith all other council services so asto identify ownership of issues,reduce duplication and targetresources to ensure the mosteffective outcomes.
