Assisted with senior designers on various projects from 4K to 40K sq ft (in GTA and Montreal locations)- Mentor CAD techs and review all set of drawings per phase of design- Managing team to ensure design and company standards are met - Independently attended site visits to see progress of construction for the project and point any red flags with site supervisors - Prepared site instructions and addendums for on going construction progress on projects - Attended client meetings from start to finish on projects to see how the project takes place - Being a team player and helped my team members on their tasks when needed due to their overload capacity on other projects - Reviewed and approved shop drawings that vendors send back for approval - Putting together sample boards for projects with minimum supervision and coordinating with vendors on finishes - Organized lists of furniture and lighting for the project in Fohlio for procurement team to order and deliver on site - Prepared construction drawings using AutoCAD - Prepared design presentation booklets in InDesign - Presenting design specifications and finishes to clients for showcasing the overall look and feel- Attending page turns (marking up IFR drawings) on live with the design, construction team and engineer for feedback prior to tender - 2D render floor plans, RCP plans, wall finishes plans, and mill work elevations in Photoshop- Creating 3D models in Sketchup to reflect the overall space and prepared 3D renderings using Enscape to showcase the overall look for presentations
