The first phase of development will feature the 96-bed hospital and a three-story, medical office building and represents a $247 million investment. The full-service hospital will include an emergency department, surgical services, intensive care unit, heart care and more, and will be the first and only inpatient hospital in Lenexa, Kan.With a mix of shopping, restaurants, entertainment venues, offices, living spaces and hotels, this walkable neighborhood has something for everyone. Nestled along I-435, the 200-acre district is less than a few miles from the Johnson County Gateway Interchange. A 15-minute walk from Shawnee Mission Park, Lenexa City Center is a true live/work community with high levels of urban design and architectural quality.
