o 10+ years of pre- and post- MSLIS experience working in Library & Information Services and related Administrative positions in Academic, Special/Legal, Archival, Records & Information Management, and Public arenaso As an eclectic person by nature, I am passionate about lifelong learning, thorough research, and having an ever-expanding list of technical and professional skills • My current focus is on developing knowledge and skills pertaining to data analytics, on which I began training in 2019 and am following up with Georgetown’s Data Analytics Certificate (Fall \'20)o Since research and analysis continue to play an important part of many roles today, I continue to be open to a wide variety of positions and would enjoy discussing how I could potentially be of serviceo My recent work experience was in Big Law Information Governance, where I was the firm\'s sole Subject Mater Expert (SME) in Retention and Dispositiono This work covered a wide range of legal practices’ client and internal content as well as firm management materials • Jurisdictions included many major U.S. states and the federal government as well as the U.K, Europe, China, and South Korea o My work and expertise were particularly valued for: • Leading an interoffice project team (including remote training sessions on Excel, SOPs, etc.) • Establishing and compiling standard operating procedures (SOPs) as well as reference and training documentation • Conducting the legal research and compiling the proposal for an aggressive retention schedule update • Acting as the primary liaison with the records and shredding vendor including large possession transfers • Handling all invoice review and remittances with a sophisticated tracking spreadsheeto Towards the end of my recent 7.5-year tenure, I was beginning to use advanced Excel techniques (e.g. Pivot Tables) to parse out useful connections between assigned attorneys and content eligible for destruction • Based on large SQL-based datasets which I customized from the back-end data with help from the software vendor • This work compelled me to delve further into data analytics, the skills for which I hope to apply in my next position
