During her 14 years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing & service industries, Betsy has effectively engaged the business leaders she supports to continue to prioritize their people. She started her HR career in the recruiting & talent acquisition space, and her innovative strategies even drew the attention of the Wall Street Journal. This foundational aspect of assessing talent and partnering with the business motivated her to expand her HR journey as a Business Partner to hone-in on the aspects of HR that drive talent retention - culture, engagement, & career pathing. Betsy has significant experience leading organizations through change and transformation; renewing a culture and driving business performance. She excels in executing human capital strategies at scale, coaching, teammate engagement, talent management, & succession planning - with a strong focus on inclusion, diversity, & equity as a strategic advantage.Currently as the VPHR for Vestis, Betsy is a thought leader & business partner for all U.S. & Canada field sales & operations. In this role, she is driven daily to make Vestis a great place to work for the teammates in her care, and by extension to better the lives of the families & communities they serve. She leads a team of outstanding Regional HR Business Partners placed strategically throughout the country as they are also embedded in operations helping to move the business strategy forward through people. Prior to joining Vestis, Betsy has held HR leadership roles with Terminix and Hostess Brands with a heavy focus on field enablement & engagement.
