About Betsy McKay

I have more than 20 years of experience in project management, multiple project organization, office oversight and management of administrative operations. In addition to my administrative abilities, I have coordinated multiple conference and training events from start to finish, including hotel logistics, curriculum and agenda development, presenter/trainer recruitment, event material production, and meeting summary and evaluation compilation. I have worked on contracts and special project initiatives since 2005 with clients that include the Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Native American Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance, National 4-H Council, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Fox Valley Technical College, the COPS Office and FirstPic, Inc. In addition to my project oversight work I have developed training materials and data collection tools to strengthen program implementation, management, and evaluation. I also have been responsible for collecting, collating, and submitting grantee site data for review to clients. I am able to assist clients with preparation of federal and foundation grants, the review and editing of training curricula, project management, event logistics and coordinating training and technical assistance (TTA) to National, regional, State, local and tribal service providers.In 2011 I earned a Masters degree in Public Administration from American University in Washington, DC. My B.A. in Theater was conferred in 2005 from Saint Mary\'s College in Notre Dame, IN.Specialties: Grant Writing, Editing, Communications, Project Management and Oversight, Development, Non-profit Management and Training and Technical Assistance (TTA)
