My training is in biochemistry and molecular biology — which means I spent years learning how to ask precise questions of complex systems, design experiments to isolate variables, interpret noisy data, and communicate findings clearly enough that other rigorous people would trust them.What I\'ve come to appreciate working at the intersection of AI and enterprise operations is how directly that methodology transfers. Whether you\'re studying how a signaling pathway coordinates a cellular response or how a supply chain coordinates decisions across procurement, production, and demand — the underlying discipline is the same. You have to understand how the parts are connected, what information flows between them, what breaks down when that flow is interrupted, and what a well-designed intervention actually looks like.The science changes. The thinking doesn\'t.Right now, the AI landscape is loud, overcrowded, and genuinely difficult to navigate — especially for midmarket manufacturers and distributors who don\'t have armies of data scientists or nine-figure technology budgets. The promises are everywhere. The clarity is not. One of the things I care most about in this work is cutting through that noise. That\'s a skill I developed in research — where the obligation to explain your work clearly isn\'t optional, it\'s how you earn credibility.What drives me is the conviction that cutting-edge AI shouldn\'t be the exclusive domain of large enterprises with the resources to absorb years-long implementations. The midmarket manufacturers and distributors running real operations — managing procurement across geographies, balancing demand volatility, coordinating decisions across functional areas with lean teams — are exactly the organizations that stand to gain the most from this technology. And they deserve to have it explained honestly, deployed practically, and proven quickly.I\'m drawn to conversations with people who want to understand how things work before they decide whether to change them.
