Betsy was CFO for Akhiok-Kaguyak, Inc. an Alaska Native Corporation and built the Finance & Accounting infrastructure by implementing Costpoint, ADP Resource to include a payroll, HRIS & 401k retirement plan, & negotiated health plans & corporate insurance. Betsy was Director of Finance for IST Research & transformed the finance & accounting solution from an outsourced accounting team to an internal, successful financial design. She was also Controller who represented two organizations simultaneously, Metabiota & Global Viral, where she directed the financial & accounting operations & objectives of the company to pair with its mission. She provided leadership for corporate financial abilities & program control to US & International operations building strong teams & motivating employees to deliver exceptional results. Prior to joining Metabiota & Global Viral, Betsy served as VP of Administration & Director of Accounting for Alion Science & Technology. During her tenure, Betsy relocated an accounting department from Chicago, IL to Fairfax, VA for this $800M corporation restructuring operational processes while implementing compliance guidelines & regulations. She obtained recognition as the CEO’s Award Winner for Administrative Dedication & Excellence in 2010.
