Promise is a housing development for young adults with special needs that is being built on 39 acres in West Melbourne, on Norfolk Parkway - behind the Hammock Landing Shopping Center. We are hoping to break ground in late summer. Promise will provide housing, vocational training and employment for 125 young adults with special needs. We have opened our 1st of 10 businesses planned, Promise Treasures Thrift Shoppe - located at 3040 West New Haven Ave, West Melbourne(in the Metro West Shopping Center/ corner of Wickham & 192). Thanks to the support of our AMAZING community we have been able to hire 8 future \"Promisers\"/young adults with special needs. Stop by for some fresh baked cookies.
