ABOUT BETSIE SASSEN

As a Director in Strategy and Operations at Impact Advisors (formerly C2 Healthcare), I am responsible for working with the hospital C-Suite, directors, and front-line mangers to optimize labor management in order to achieve enhanced profitability through coaching, our proprietary OPTIX analytics and tools, and the provision of performance feedback in real time. With over 27 years of experience as a nurse, I can relate well and help our clients see possibilities versus roadblocks in order to achieve clinical operating efficiencies and savings. Prior to Impact Advisors, I have worked in a variety of clinical environments ranging from Medical Surgical, Neonatal Intensive Care, and Long-Term Care. With 23 years of experience in Long-Term Care in leadership roles, I have helped develop innovative, leading edge care models that became of interest nationally and internationally. I have spoken at over 40 national aging and industry conferences and have been a keynote speaker on several occasions. I have been interviewed and quoted in various publications including The New York Times, AARP Bulletin, and the Chicago Tribune. I am regarded as a thought leader and have provided aging expertise through national task forces, radio shows and as a guest lecturer at universities.I am a published author with articles in Computers, Informatics, and Nursing, Marketing Health Services, Nursing Homes/Long Term Care Management, Generations, and Seniors Housing and Care Journal. I have also provided content on a regular basis to HuffPost 50. Honors include Heroes in Healthcare Award from the Best Practice Network and The President’s Award at Mather LifeWays. I completed the LeadingAge Leadership Academy program as well as the Intrinsic Coach® Development Series - Organizational Effectiveness through Totally Coached, Inc.
