American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death. AFSP is the leading non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. AFSP\'s New Jersey Chapter engages volunteers in Preventative Education, Advocacy and Public Policy and provides support to those who have lost a loved one to suicide through our Loss and Healing team. We raise awareness and funds through our Community and Campus Out of the Darkness Walks. Together we fight for a world without suicide.
