ABOUT BETH CONNOR
Do you care deeply about getting it right for a child with SEND, but find yourself stuck in a system that doesn’t? I’m Beth, a SEND Consultant working with the award-winning Sunshine Support, supporting families and professionals to secure the right support for children and young people with SEND. Whether you’re preparing for tribunal, frustrated at the lack of response, or trying to make the system work for a child who doesn’t (and shouldn\'t) fit into neat boxes, we can help you cut through the noise, understand your rights and build a plan that puts the young person right at the centre where they belong. We support with: • Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) • EOTIS/EOTAS • Pre-Action Protocol (PAP) Letters • EHC needs assessments • EHCP reviews and appeals • Disability discrimination • School complaints and provision breakdown • Tribunals and mediation • Challenging unlawful exclusions I’m solution-focused and a big believer in finding creative ways around problems, particularly when a child/young person is not receiving the right support. When I’m not deep in policy documents or decoding reports, you’ll probably find me outdoors with animals, enjoying nature, or researching something slightly obscure. Check out our website at or send an email e••••••••@sunshine-support.org.uk \'We wouldn’t have got here if it wasn’t for Beth\'s help, we really appreciate her help and most importantly I appreciated how you looked at my child for who she is and not just another case.\'\'We are absolutely elated and could not be happier. We just want to thank Beth for her help and support with everything she has done for our family as the report she produced was incredible and is one of the reasons we have had that news today. It feels like all of our dreams have come true.\'\'Thank you again, what you do for families like ours is priceless.\'
