About Beth McMullen
I am a public policy professional in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area with over 25 years of experience working with state and federal governments, political campaigns and grassroots advocacy. Since January 2016, I have worked for the Alzheimer\'s Association, first with the Minnesota/North Dakota Chapter, and now with the DC office. In 2011 I was highlighted in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s “25 Women to Watch” as a female leader in the business community. I was also honored in 2005 by the Business Journal as one of that year’s “40 Under Forty.\" I love my career in policy and advocacy, but one day I hope to work in the foreign service, finally utilizing my International Relations degree. In my personal time, I love being outside, whether it is cold or warm, though I much prefer the cooler weather. You\'ll find me on an area lake with my kayak or paddle board, or walking around it with our dog tagging along. I enjoy flower gardening outdoors, but have a real knack for killing indoor plants.
