About Beth Kubala
Teaching Professor and Executive Director overseeing Syracuse Law’s clinical programs and the Betty & Michael D. Wohl Veterans Legal Clinic. I lead faculty and staff who train practice-ready lawyers while delivering high-impact services to veterans and our community. Previously Senior Director at Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families; earlier, 22 years in the U.S. Army (retired LTC), culminating as a military judge.Recent highlights: expanded clinical offerings & partnerships; new grants supporting veterans’ benefits navigation and homelessness prevention; student advocacy that includes appellate arguments and amicus engagement; and recognition by NYSBA as Veterans Advocate of the Year (2024).
