ABOUT BETH HYLAND
I am an advocate, author, and speaker dedicated to raising awareness about romance fraud and supporting those affected by it. After surviving romance fraud, I chose not to let it define me. Instead, I turned my experience into purpose, education, and hope for others.Through my LLC, A Voice for Unrequited Love, I focus on prevention, survivor education, and speaking engagements that help communities better understand this crime. My advocacy work includes presentations, collaborating with organizations, and developing resources that help people recognize warning signs and reduce shame. My book, Diary of a Romance Scam, shares my journey so others can see themselves, learn, and feel less alone.I’ve shared my story through media interviews and public conversations, including an NBC interview on Capitol Hill and a feature article for LexisNexis Risk Solutions, both of which highlight the impact of romance fraud and the importance of survivor support.My mission is to shatter the shame, empower survivors, and be a strong, compassionate voice for those who suffer in silence.
