I am the Director of Operation Risk Practice Strategy at RBC, owning Enterprise Change Management, External Events and Scenarios risk practices. I lead the company\'s operations and ensure the full optimization of my risk management practices across all RBC business platforms and corporate functions. I bring a strategic, servant leadership approach and a results-driven mindset to my work. Throughout my career, I have successfully developed comprehensive risk processes across various functions, partner solutions, and communication channels for RBC’s Personal and Commercial Banking. At RBC, I focus on establishing impactful team goals and objectives based on risk management and stakeholder priorities, adapting to emerging needs for maximum impact. I also lead the program\'s strategic direction, ensuring alignment, stakeholder engagement, and practical tool evaluation to drive significant positive change. Additionally, I prioritize future practice requirements, provide guidance on operational risk, and support business partners in implementing the operational risk program to deliver impactful results.Recently I have upgraded my skills to included Sustainability Leadership having taken Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business (Masters, Stage 1) at the University of Cambridge. Additionally, I have completed two short courses with the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership in Sustainable Finance and Sustainable Essentials for Business. My key research topics include “Emerging climate litigation impacts on the banking industry” and “How Canadian loyalty programs incentivize sustainable behaviour and enable business success.”Noted accomplishments include but aren\'t limited to, delivering keynote speeches and executive-level presentations to audiences ranging from 65 to 240 attendees. I have conducted 25 communication workshops showcasing my expertise in effective communication strategies. I have also received several prestigious awards at RBC, such as the Quarterly Awards, Team Leadership Recognition, and Team Awards, highlighting my exceptional leadership and performance. Additionally, I have been recognized with the Global Resourcing Recognition Awards and the Internal Audit Services Gold Card Award, underscoring my commitment to excellence in all endeavors.
