At Apex, I manage the business functions supporting our engineers. A lot of my time is spent identifying strategic opportunities to enhance workflow, then implementing the changes needed to realize those efficiencies. I\'m working with the firm\'s Principals to develop strategic financial objectives for the organization as we continue to grow and expand. I’ve brought Apex high quality staff with the right skills at the right time to excel in our markets. Headcount has quadrupled since I moved into my role. Once we\'ve got the right people on board, I make sure the benefits we have in place are competitive and actively promote our Total Rewards approach to compensation that doesn\'t stop at payroll. Risk management is another part of my role at Apex. I oversee the company\'s insurance lines, including property, liability, workers compensation, E&O, D&O, EPLI and other policies according to business needs. On the side, I also maintain the Apex website ensuring content is current.
