I am a seasoned executive and thought leader with over 25 years of leadership experience running my second-generation company, Savage Brands, and helping my clients grow and navigate significant business and cultural transformations. I am an expert in branding, multi-stakeholder communications, culture-building and marketing for public and private companies at critical junctures in their lifecycle including corporate positioning, reputation building, digital transformation, leadership succession, M&A, spin-offs, internal change management and sustainability communications.I am passionate about connecting other company leaders to their purpose, ensuring that their companies are culturally aligned, their brands have substance, and they stay not just competitive, but relevant. Savage\'s work has shown demonstrable results for our clients including significant market share growth, competitive differentiation, employee recruiting and retention, behavioral change, digital transformation and multi-generational “bridge” communications and employee engagement. I was recently elected to the Association of Rice Alumni (ARA) with my term beginning in June 2025. I serve on the advisory board of First Horizon Bank - Texas Market, the advisory board of Sustainability & Energy Value Advisors (SEVA) and on ESG committee for the Energy Workforce & Technology Council (EWTC). I have also served on the Rice Business Alumni Association Board and the Board of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI)-Houston. I am a 14-year Vistage member and am active in NACD and PDA. I am also a practitioner of EOS – Entrepreneurs Operating System. My work with B2B CEOs intersected with my involvement with Conscious Capitalism inspired me and my co-author Jackie Dryden to write and publish the leadership book, Get Your Head Out of Your Bottom Line…and Build Your Brand on Purpose. I received my MBA from Rice University in 2001 and BFA from The University of Arizona. I was honored as a Houston Business Journal 40 Under 40 and won the inaugural Rice Business Alumni Industry Excellence Award (Consulting).I have served on several non-profit boards and speak at a variety events and conferences including keynote talks at multiple Energy Workforce & Technology Council Seminars, the Conscious Capitalism CEO Summit, the Vistage All-City Annual meeting, the ESG & Finance panel and the Hart Energy ESG Conference. I have also been featured on syndicated podcasts including Forbes Books Radio, Dov Baron’s Leadership & Loyalty, Jake Carlson’s Modern Leadership and The Tony DUrso Show.
