MCHD consistently performs alongside top hospitals in the nation, both rural and urban, in clinical measures, patient satisfaction, physician satisfaction, and employee satisfaction. MCHD has received the Five Star ranking from the NRRS, has received the top 100 CAH Hospitals ranking and the Performance Leadership Award by the CHARTIS ranking system; has been ranked multiple times as a Top 20 National CAH hospital by the NRHA; has received the Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award for employee, patient, and physician satisfaction; and has received a multitude of additional awards such as the Texas EMS Agency of the Year, the Healthcare Pioneer Award, and many more. MCHD inpatient services include 24 hour, level IV trauma and emergency care, med surg & intermediate care, women's services, a swing bed unit, surgical services, imaging, lab, respiratory, nutritional services, social services, integrated care, population health, telenursing, nephrology, therapy, and patient education. Outpatient services include: a dedicated EMS service, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, surgical services, self-referral mammography, pulmonary rehab, and nephrology. MCHD currently employs 13 physicians and 9 mid-levels and runs 7 physician clinics including: The Donnie Ballard Nephrology Center, Moore County General Surgery, Moore County Foot & Ankle, Moore County Internal Medicine, Moore County Bone & Joint, Moore County Obstetrics & Gynecology, and the Moore County Family Health Clinic. MCHD also owns and operates the Memorial Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a recently renovated, award-winning, private-room nursing home, and Memorial Hospice, one of the first hospices in the panhandle of Texas, now in service for over 30 years.
